Apple is expanding its Apple Arcade subscription service with a slate of new titles and major updates launching throughout September. Headlining the lineup is NFL Retro Bowl ’26, which debuts exclusively on the platform on September 4. Developed by New Star Games, the game combines nostalgic arcade-style graphics with officially licensed teams and players through the NFL and NFLPA.

A new feature, the NFL Retro Bowl Championship Leaderboard, allows players to represent their favorite NFL teams in weekly matchups mirroring the real 2025 season schedule. Joining NFL Retro Bowl ’26 on the same day is Jeopardy! Daily, a trivia game created by Frosty Pop Games in collaboration with the popular quiz show. The game delivers daily exclusive clues written by the show’s official writers and includes global leaderboards and weekly tournaments.

Also launching is My Talking Tom Friends+, a life-simulation game from Outfit7 that brings together characters like Tom, Angela, and Ben in a shared interactive environment full of mini-games and customization options. Later in the month, on September 18, Hello Kitty Island Adventure will receive a significant update. Developed by Sunblink in partnership with Sanrio, the update introduces a new in-game area called Wheatflour Wonderland.

This whimsical setting includes stained-glass castles and ancient ruins, and introduces a new character, Cogimyun, who enlists players’ help to unlock the Ancient Citadel and search for hidden treasure. In addition to new games, several popular titles on Apple Arcade are receiving updates throughout August. Disney Dreamlight Valley Arcade Edition by Gameloft will unveil an Inside Out-themed realm on August 20, where players take on the role of Mind Workers alongside Joy and Sadness.

Platform continues focus on variety and frequent updates

On August 26, Mini Motorways by Dinosaur Polo Club introduces Creative Mode, allowing players to fully customize cities. Meanwhile, on August 27, Snake.io+ by Kooapps rolls out an Among Us crossover, featuring four exclusive crewmate skins. Additional updates are planned for other Arcade titles in the coming weeks, including Katamari Damacy Rolling LIVE, WHAT THE CAR?, Sonic Dream Team, and It’s Literally Just Mowing+.

All games and updates are available at no extra charge to subscribers. Apple Arcade now features a library of over 200 games, all free from advertisements and in-app purchases. The platform continues to position itself as a premium destination for mobile gaming by offering exclusive content and consistent updates across genres. – By Content Syndication Services.
